anyone know the era of this ring???

i found this ring just a few hours ago and am puzzled about how old it may be. or if it is just junk, but im not too sure. and is crudely made, i scratched the inside and it is a silvery metal, about size 7. the inside of the ring is heavily scratched, as if someone deliberately scratched out the inside. also on the inside there are 2 small holes on the inside of the band. the pictures hopefully will help.

Congratulations on the find. Very unusual ring. Sorry, can't help with ID. It is at the very least a good conversation piece.

thank you, it was my first target i dug of the day. also if anyone may have some refrences to where i could possibly look this ring up would also help.
