Anyone know if whites has a new detector coming out soon?

Absolutly! They are calling it "The Super Dooper Coin Scooper". It comes with VTID (Voice Target ID). The machine actually "tells" you what is in the ground, how deep it is and even the year the coin was minted in either a male or female voice (your choice). It has an optional "digger" coil which will actually dig the target for you and fill the hole! Retail is somewhere around $50,000.00. Small price to pay for the technology if you ask me. LOL. All kidding aside though, I would be interested to know if a new machine is in the works myself.

Oh did you know of the top of the line new detector from WHITES.
It is a XL PRO with Clondike Clad running it.
The only thing bad is when it is COLD the Clondike Clad will not work and you will have to run the XL PRO
The cost is priceless LOL

I certainly want one of these !! HAHAHAH LOL

Dunno, but I heard from someone on the Tesoro forum that heard from someone on the Garrett forum that claimed their cousin in St Louis was reading on another Forum and said somethin like Whites will definetly come out with a new machine!!!! Sometime in the future.
But, Clondike, I wanna use my own Pro, but Im open to all pointers tho, lol. Im lovin that machine each time I use it.
Happy New Year,
John

I wish they would come out with a new top end model. They are definately due for one. I still like my xlt though.

they come out with something that could get solid repeatable signals at 8 inches like the Minelabs and Fishers F-75....no point coming out with something that is not going to be any better or at least equal to its competitors...I am sure that is the problem here!

My XL PRO can hit dimes at 8 inch and also my M6 can hit them.......
I may need to try a DFX again and see what is going on with it IT SHOULD HIT 8 INCH DIMES

[size=medium]If you compared them yourself, in your hunting areas, with your DFX, and used YOUR measuring tool, I think you'd find that some of the "deep coin" claims we all too often see on the forums are often a bit of a stretch.

Can some models get a deep coin hit? Yes, but they aren't always SOILD hits on deep coins. Also, don't expect many of them to give a 'proper' audio or visual Target ID at a "deep" depth.

The best models I've used for serious depth of detection in moist ground I hunt in, and using 6

Re badged/improved GS5 pulse though by the time it arrives I expect Eric to have improved his 5B into a GS6.

It could be changed slightly, and still be one very good detector.
It is still my favorite detector for all around detecting. Whites listen to this man..He knows what he is talking about.

Well as soon as I can see the ground again (snow)I will let you know how new stock coil does...old one was a flop...every reading seemed to be 4.5 or shallower...no matter what program or adjustment...

they are losing customers now not only to Minelab but now also Fishers F-75 seems to have gained in popularity because of its depth.

Is that some kind of epa rule about lead in the box paint, or electronics component?

Just keep diggin boys! The more time ya waste on talkin the less time spent diggin, git on out dar an show'em what whites really can do!!

you wont let the weather stop ya! You ever pulled up ya floorboards and detected under ya house!!?? Hahahaha give me any peice of dirt and I'll dig the @#$%sucker LOL!! Yeeehawwwww!

I believe ya Seth, its just that I dont have floor boards, concrete doesnt come up that easy and I dont think the wife would understand if we did have floorboards, lol.
Ill go tomorrow, its gonna be back in the 40s tomorrow with no wind. Weather,eh, maybe Im getting soft in my old days. I recall wadding out to pick up some ducks I shot and it was so cold I would have a sheet of ice on my wadders, lol. I must be gettin soft. Dang u Seth, you makin me recall some good huntin and fishin trips, some of the best was when the weather was at its worse, lol. I remember one January night me and a couple friends went up a bayou off the river and set some yo yos out. Filled up two ice chest with crappie. But it was so cold the strings on the yo yos would freeze. Oh, I can still go, and I dont have a choice many times as my job requires me working out in the elements all year.
We are fortunate here in Louisiana, dont get all the snow and bitter cold. When the temps do fall, they bounce right back up within a day or two.
Best wishes,
John
