Anyone know how to "recoil" a headphone cord???,,,,

is there a way to tighen it back up? thanks

He coiled the wire back like it was, holding the coiled wire into place..Taped it into position...... using Electrical tape..... He then heated the tape and wire with a high density Hair dryer... Once it was very very hot..he dipped wire and taped area into cold water..... he then re-did the heating process and dunking again in cold water..It did in that instance coil the wire back to a tighter coil.... It did leave a small amount of sticky residue on the wire.. Some Goo Gone got rid of that..

Like I stated..I never did it..but did see the results from his doing the above described.

I always intened to try this myself, and see if it was a fluke, or a possible remedy for streched wires..

interesting,,,, I will try it if I get no better ideas,,,,, thanks
