Anyone know how to detect gold chains with Deus?

In all metal mode on my Deus, I've picked up real small aluminum. I would think the Deus could pick out a fine gold chain even without a pendant on it.
But since I've never found a fine gold chain, this is just speculation on my part.

I would imagine the elliptical on 74 kh would do it since it hits a small gold earring both opened and closed in my garden.

Fine gold chain just by themselves without charms or clasps etc are notoriously hard to detect, high single freq machine and PI machines are usually best for the job with a small coil as well, its because of the small links that the detector ties to pick up on each link rather than the whole object,if they have charms or clasps that are bigger than the links then it will/should pick up the chain alot easier.

The newer HF coils should improve your odds of hitting micro jewellery for sure,on the dry sand not a problem but if hunting fine gold chains in the surf/wet sand then that would even be harder still.
