Anyone know anything about yahoo instant messaging ? Besides don't use it.

I was gettin malicious e-mails from someone. One o' them deals where the more you delete the more come in.
Anywho,i finaly figgered out how to block the e-mails but once i did that,
i started gittin im popups from some porn site.
Now, every time i do anything in yahoo e-mail that pop up comes back.
I do not use im. Do not have it in my pc and i can't find a way to stop the messages.
Anyone know how to stop them ?
