Anyone know any site to pan gold in Southwestern Missouri or Northern Arkansas?

I have research and found stories of gold being found in those two states creeks but never could find or pinpoint it to as which creeks.

So I am wondering if anyone had any experience panning in either states Missouri or Arkansas and discovered some gold in the past.

I am aware that if any gold exist in either state it would probably be very fine or flour type of gold, I just want to go outdoor near my hometown in Springfield Missouri and practice some panning before going out to west or east for some real gold panning.
