Anyone Just Relic Hunt With The ET?

I just picked one up and an curious about the best settings for relic hunting. I have read that TTF is good and a open screen in quick mask. the last owner already had some interesting programs in it that I'm going to try........MO

I like to run a open screen except for one line at top disced out except about 1/5 left open on right side for big silver.I found it to high tone false on iron a lot less than wide open screen.....

Looking forward to seeing what you will find.

I've done pretty good with relics with mine! Long tones, fast off, deep on, and 27 fe and above disced out. Dig the rest.

Ray, there is one already loaded in it that is kinda like yours, I'm gonna have to play around with it some, have not hunted with it yet but it seems to be alot less jittery than the EXII or Safari's that I've tried in the past................Mark

Mo I have done very well with mine. Like Ray I use TTF most of the time. Relic screen with 1-38 rejected on top. This helps with the iron wrap around. Pay no attention to the ferrous numbers but the CO numbers are close even with depth. Go slow. Bullets are usually in the 30s cannister balls low tone around 45 and buttons I have found all over from 20s to 68. 12-01and 12-04 may get you a gold dollar (mid-tone). Good luck. HH :minelab:

I had a 12-03 50 cal musket ball at about 10"! Low numbers can be interesting....

The ET with the pro coil bangs a .69 cal minnie that I have planted at 10" inTTF with a 15-34 on the read out. I think with a little practice I will be able to retire my Xterra 70 as a back up, she has done me well thou!!!!!!:yikes:
