Anyone interested in a Hi Tone Vaquero?

Hey guys, I've got a one month old Hi Tone Vaquero that is literally brand new if anyone is interested? I've got the DeLeon fixed and rolling, so no need for the Vaquero. Great detector and never used other than assembling the unit. It's the new factory Hi Tone. I'm thinking $400 shipped? Something in that neighborhood? PM me if interested. Thanks

I was thinking of getting one as a back up. I don,'t want to be a cheap skate but for a little more you could get a new one.

Hey, I understand. The factory Hi Tones are actually $440 rather than the usual $420. I figured around $390 or so would save someone $50 on a basically new unit.

If it works like my V, it'll arrive with a handful of coins found on the way ! ...

I have only my testbed results as far as any real depths goes, I've only had mine about a month.
I put all my clad coins at 8" deep, It hits very strong on all of them. I have a silver dime at 10", it hits it with no problem . I have a silver quarter at 12" and it hits it strong. That is with it super tuned and using the 8x9 coil. I'm confident in it with those results ! If you are thinking about getting one, I think you'll be very glad you did!

How about with out it being super tuned? Will it still hit the silver dime and 12'' quarter? Lets say with iron disced out and sens. at 9.

I checked it today. Not super tuned, with the disc at MAX and sensitivity at 9, it still hits the dime, much softer but hits it clear and still hits the quarter with a nice soft tone.

Thanks for the results Hopskippy! I think you helped me make a decision.Boy 12'' on a quarter thats great for any detector even a top of line unit!

Don't know about a quarter, but I have dug a clad dime at a measured 10.5". Sens was around 8 or 9 mild soil in the woods, signal was weak but repeatable.

This is interesting. Its a cibola with ground balance. Power balancing...
