I'm taking my 14 year old son on a road trip to dig for gems and minerals. I was debating about whether or not to bring the detector along.

Im not there but Jess and I have been planning to go in August of this year.....Hiddenite is the place to go dig em!

LOL! I was thinking about taking it. I'm not sure how my son would feel. This is supposed to be gem digging time for him.
