Yea i hit the other one i found out it has been hit to death nthing at all there so if any one has any ideas where to go or is looking to hunt with someone please let me know as it gets pretty boering alone and not many places to go

That sounds good, but I do not want to invite other md ers' to hunt if I don't know a site without researching it . Would prefer to get the research done, get permission (where needed) then invite folks up here- Monmouth Cty. Until then, I'll likely keep hunting rogue....Had a quick 1 hr hunt earlier this evening. 12 clads with 2 of 'em Sacajawea dollars, reading 38's in 4 inches of soil, coin mode. HH
 
I lived in Penns Grove in the mid-80's and even then, many of the obvious sites had been hit hard. I ran a detector shop there as a side line business for 4 years and hunted every chance I could. There is a great deal of history in the area and a great number fo great finds still left to find but don't expect to make them at sites everyone knows about. I have several friends that still live there and are out consistently and their finds come from long forgotten sites.

Places like Riverview Park, Alloways Township, the schools, parks and beaches have been pounded but there is always something that might have been missed.

What type of hunting are you into? I'll see if I have some sites I could recommend in my research files.
