Is there anyone on here living in Colorado? I would love to metal detect with someone around here , I get bored detecting alone . I guess I could always join a club though . Plus I need to find some SILVER or some BLING , I am getting tired of the same ol' pull tabs and junk . I found the bottom of a 5 wood golf club the other day and some strange little part that looks like it went to a lamp or something or maybe a lighter of sort? I wonder if I should put a pic of it and see what all you guys think it may be .

Research ghost towns in CO. Old trails like the Sante Fe etc, had encampments along them. Try to do some research of old mines, forts etc. Keep poking around the findmall site till you come across the maps section and there you will find links to where you can access historical maps on line. There may be some from the mid 1800s that show white settlement (Indians for the most part didn't have metal objects) that no longer exist.
