Hi,just moved here from South Carolina,Looking for info. on hunting beaches from St Augustine to Flagler beaches.Just bought new Whites surf Pro.Also any where to hunt around Palatka Fl too?
Thanks
Chris

You are with in an hour drive from Jacksonville south to Daytona any of the east coast beaches will be good hunting. Palm Coast is just east of you and close to Flagler Beach, that Neighbor hood is high dollar so I would try there. I have hunted from Ormond Beach south to Cocoa Beach, but never further North.

Check with some of the old residents of Palatka and see if they know of any old swimming holes along the St. Johns River. Maybe they have a Historical Museum with some info. They ran Steamships down the St. Johns back before the Civil War.

Pull up all the County parks near you that are on lakes or River see if they have swimming areas. State Parks are illegal to hunt in Fl. unless they are on the Atlantic coast or the Gulf coast and some of them won't let you in the water, just between the tide lines. Good Luck and welcome to Fl. Hey Chris,

Where were you in South Carolina?

I am in Columbia.

I am from Orange Park Florida and will be headed back at the end of this year. (Growing up in Florida, I spent a lot of time in St Augustine)
