Anyone hunt in all metal?

Curious to know how it works out for y'all. I like to hunt in all metal with my other detector and it seems to get just a tad more depth. I want all the depth I can get when it comes to relic hunting. Thanks

Actually its the only way to go, if you ask me. It seems to be plenty stable and seems to have slightly better target separation.

I do most of the time, but usually have the iron tones down on low volume like 1 so I can barely hear it.

Never hunt with any disc ever, I like to hear what's under my coil at times. That's the beauty of tone breaks and tone pitch adjust :)

I absolutely do unless the junk is just too thick to deal with. I want all the audio information I can get. So all metal 50 tones. Awesome.

I like AM.... with low iron volume. I dont believe you get more depth. ...but it can shorten weak or near signals which you dont want with this fast machine. In the water sometime I go to two tones as wel.

Yes, I generally use 50 tones and no discrimination, for the most info. But, as others have mentioned, no discrimination on the Nox is apparently not a true "all metal" mode. That is, no discrimination is set but the Nox is still doing the discrimination processing; so it is doubtful you would see extra depth.

No, it will not do anything to help depth. Accepting iron can help with co-located targets because there is no attempt to fight the null of the iron rejection.
