Anyone here use the Minelab PRO-FIND 25 Pinpointing Probe?

Buy the Garrett . Its better . I heard that Minelab have stopped making the Pro Find . Have not checked to see if true.

They are all about the same but around 2 to 3 inches on a medium sized coin . Garrett is better .

[size=medium]I'd suggest you get the Garrett. I've found the Minelab will detect a coin 1 to 2" below the surface, but I can also tell you that I've had to send mine in for repair/replacement 5 times in the last couple of years. They're just not made well. I used the Garrett yesterday to compare to the Minelab- it was sounding off loud and clear when the Minelab didn't even peep. Get the Garrett, and please know I use Minelab detectors, Pro-Swing and do on.

I use Minelabs too and their latest incarnations are not up to the mark i think . They have forgotten all about the Hobby market or at least taking the q!55 out of it .

Yes I agree I use the Garrett II and I love it, it vibrates and sounds off at the same time.

Oh stupid me. Yesterday I hooked up my Sunray inline probe on my Explorer SE. But I only hooked up the probe to the detector.
I went to a place to detect and couldn't hear anything out of the coil. So I went home, took off the probe and hooked the coil back up
to the detector. Luckily the place was just down the road. This morning I noticed the problem.I didn't take the coil line out of the shaft to hook it up to the probe, THEN hook the
probe up to the detector. It's been years since I used this as it was on my Explorer XS.

Sometimes I just amaze myself at my stupidity. Such God saves.
