Anyone here use the Lesche Ground Shark digging tool?

Is it worth the investment?

Thanks,

I like the Preditor little eagle better because it cuts a neater plug, but the ground shark will give you a deeper hole with a little less effort but it not as tidy. Any preditor tool, use to be called lesche, is bad to da bone. I friend of mine who is in the stainless steel business once told me they couldn't be made from 4130 stainless because they would cost to much. But they are and they don't. All you got to do is not loose them and they will last for generation after generation. I put one in every car I have owned and the time always came when I needed to dig out.

Hello,
I've got both the Shark and Eagle in 28 inches, preferring the Shark because it's a little narrower. Both are fine tools.

The only problem you'll have is, not the tool but the perception of those watching you. The tools make you appear as a heavy digger. :) In touchy areas/situations I always use my Lesche Model 85 (gator style) until "they" stop watching. I actually use the Model 85 90-95% of the time.

I just got my Lesche Little Eagle shovel, and I got the ball handle though I ordered the T handle. Is the ball handle designed so you can slip the ball end into a hammer loop on your belt to carry it? Just curious.
