Anyone here go underwater with their Deus?

WS4s no. That's why the kit has other wp phones included.

Hello Tony,

You can detect up go your neck, the headphones are not waterproof. However, Signal is terrific using the antenna.

In area's with black Sand, try and use Gold Field mode with very little or no discrimination. Black sand can drag down the conductivity especially lower conductive, many cases fall in the iron range.

I use the deteknix phones, they are great and zip ties to hold the antenna. Good luck, and hunt with the puck only unless you have a waterproof case for the controller.

Yes
The antenna has to be next to your controller or WS4s puck.
The closer the better.

Just wanted to show off my new low profile, inside the pole underwater waveguide antenna setup. I tried it out last weekend and it worked great!!
I got the idea from this guys YouTube:
I made a few modifications vs. the video. The optimum cut for the RG-179 coax should be 2.15cm, then un-braid the outer shield and fold it back 2.15cm for an overall length of 4.3cm, then slap a 5cm small heat shrink tube over it. Voila, you've just made a 1/4 wave ground-plane antenna for 2.44 GHz. Instead of electrical tape on the coll I used a releasable/reusable cable 6 inch tie and trimmed it. Waterproof case is an Aryca from Ebay. I put a paracord loop on the case just in case it gets loose.
