Anyone hear any more about that Meteor that was shown on the news the other night?

.... perhaps he can enlighten us with where that meteor landed, whom it landed on, and what type of detector they used to use.

It lit up the sky around here like a BIG welding flash. The story is that it was about the size of a suitcase,(Or Beans lunch box) and it blew up into ashes above the ground about 70 miles north of La Grande Oregon in southeastern Washington state. From what I saw, it most likely did blow up. The thing was flashing an leaving a trail of smoke until that last flash that was a real doozey. After that it was just gone. They have had a lot of search teams looking in the area on ground and in the air but have found no trace of an impact, or any eyewitness accounts of it hitting the ground. It was neat thing to see though! DC
