In the last month or so my Vulcan has decided to neverendingly chatter at me in sens. 4 & 5 for some reason. At first I thought EMI or low battery, so I changed the battery and it continued. Still thinking EMI I spent a few days at my in-laws and went to an old homestead in the hills with ZERO power lines underground or above. The homestead is now just a field all around for as far as the eye can see. Even then the Vulcan kept giving me problems. I contacted the place that sold it to me in Florida and I just received the replacement.... I pop the battery in and same issue.
Anyone having or have had a similar issue with their Vulcan or other pinpointer? I am wondering if they just sent me a refurbished piece of junk or if there is a variable that I'm not aware of going on around me or simply that I expect to much for it to work at the two highest sensitivity levels in the first place. Let me know what you think about the situation and what you would do!
