Anyone have experience hunting Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Friends have invited the Princess and myself down to Mexico for a week next month and I was hoping to take the Excal along (I can't drink Tekillya nonstop after all). Does any know if there are restrictions against hunting in the water at Playa del Carmen?
It would be nice to get back into warm water again but I don't want to upset the Federales.;)
