Anyone have any pics of their "homemade" hip mount conversion for an Excal? :cool:

ok...i have 2 of the regular hipmounts from minelab....have you ever seen one set to run up and down leg....attach to belt or belt loop and just hang down...i am thinking that the coil line might get in way....i have to put it together and see if it will work...just my mumbelings...

Just purchase a 2 inch belt, I bought mine from sears and drilled 3 holes and attached my excal just like the pic's that are posted,The hip mount that you get works,But making a after market fills better when wearing a long time.
Also secure the wires so that when your swinging you don't put stress on wire in unit,and going to battery.
