Any of you guys ever hunted with the whites Surfmaster ll ?Would appreciate some feedback please:help: cjm

Yes... I bought one many years ago when they first come out with them. I still use it today for all my water hunting. I have tried 3 other brands. Sold them all. Mine has paid for its self many times over. I did try it at a salt water beach one time. Not to good when you get into the wet sand. Fresh waterbeaches it is great. Over all the years I had it, nothing ever went wrong. About every 5 years I send it in for a check up.clean the seal after use. I put in a new seal every 2 years. Hope this helps... KEN

....,,

Never used one.I do however use the Whites beach hunter id 300 and i won't use anything else.
I use mine exclusively on saltwater beaches......you may just hunt freshwater beaches so the surfmaster may be ideal.
My advice would be to look at the beach hunter,it performs brilliantly on the beach and in land if you care to take it to the fields.I have performed "proper" comparison tests between the beach hunter and a variety of so called "beach" machines and that is why i still use it and no others.......it can take a little getting used to but once mastered it's brilliant.

Great freshwater detector. I still have one, its my backup if my excal needs repair and I'm going lake diving.
