Anyone have an idea on this cannonball?

The first week I got to use my X5, my mom's neighbor and friend of mine gave me this cannonball. Does anyone have an idea if it is from CW or Rev. War and any other info on it. It was most definitely made in CT, as it came from a field there. Thanks!

Brandon, you'll need to measure the diameter and then weigh it. That will determine its caliber and ID. If it is a cannonball, and it appears to be, it is a solid shot. Intended for use against fortifications, trains, blockhouses etc. Good hunting, David@Dixie

Brandon,

To I.D. it better, where is the field located here in CT.? Might be Rev. War - - - depending? Joe

It could be a solid shot, or it looks the size of a shot put used in high school field and track.
