I would like to compare notes with another unit with the Mod. Maybe I will learn something........

Thanks

What's the main difference with that unit ? Did Tom D set the calibration on it so that foil and smaller gold come in better or have a wider window than a normal CZ3D ?

Also, curious to know whenever you get some input from another user of this modified unit, if it is more or less stable in wet salt sand.

I am told that the Salt Mode is unchanged. The mod is only in the Enhanced Mode. It seems like there is somewhat of a closer setting for the gold range and aluminum is almost eliminated. I have only found one gold ring and it was gold plated. I have played with it using gold targets in an air test. As I learn more I will keep you updated. This unit is super hot and hits very deep.

These are my finds from a 3 day weekend with the Cz3D

It looks like you are killing it with that machine! Do you still have your 1021 CZ-3D? I'm just curious?

Yes it is a 1021, and seems to be very hot and deep.
