Anyone had any luck running in SL mode on the F70

I can max my sens out in DE mode, but as soon as I put it in SL mode the detector goes berserk. Has anyone had any luck using SL? I would think I would have better performance in DE mode with high sens rather than having it in SL mode with lower sens. Any thoughts?
 
You would experience more problems in the slow mode, "SL", because the circuit is re-setting at a slow rate. Contrary, a faster mode, "DE", has the circuit re-setting faster so it will smooth things out better.

In the SL mode this aide's in locating targets, because the unit has more time to analyze what's under the coil before re-setting. One should slow their sweep speed down for this mode also.

Try the SL mode again using a slower sweep speed, and set the sensitivity back a bit, see if that doesn't help.
