i just went round the beaches and its 30 odd plus degrees C today so lots of people around so i brought a headlight LED light so might go hit the main beach tonight not so hot and no people around, sounds like fun so will see how i go!
its a good point i went the other night local beach i grew up on and was a full moon so i felt OK but under different circumstance's it could be a bit off putting plus i have no doubt a metal detector round the neck would not tickle only if i had too i guess if i feel like it and am out there and its getting dark i will stay out, if i don't i wont,

I do whenever conditions are appealing.
Saturday last, spent 4 hours water hunting with a CZ-20 in warm calm water on a moonlit night till daybreak.
Got out of the water, changed to dry clothes, had a cuppa and enjoyed the sunrise with a Gold Bug Pro in hand.
Life's Good,................ when we take time to enjoy it.
very good ivanll excellent photo and catch lots of people fish for fish at night where i live so i will be ground fishing as you say when conditions suit.
photo has me out there looks very inviting for a hunt.
Some of my best finds have been at night. I think maybe it is easier to concentrate on listening for those deep whispers when you aren't distracted by traffic and people. Since I live in a small town I really don't have to worry about what goes bump in the night, and besides I'm armed with a 6 inch digger that
probably wouldn't feel too good in your ribs....lol.
