I was wondering if it's as unstable as mine?I just got it and am so mad that I posted it for sale/trade after 2 hours.maybe I'm just not giving it a chance.I'm a coinshooter and have a se pro but wanted something for the woods and trashy areas,I've always read this machine excelled there, and I'm thinking maybe my sense is too high.when I get up past 70 in bp it gets reaaaaalll noisy. Do I need to run it hot to get the depth?

I have good success finding coins at sensitivity as low as 20 in Bp mode. 30 in de mode.
In default it is set at 60 sensativity.
As a new user start with lower sensitivity.
These are powerful so dial back to get rid of EMI.
At 70 you would pick up every BB sized piece of metal in the ground too. That has its purpose but can drive you nuts too

Ok thanks.I just read about everyone running at 99 in boost and I can't even get close,so I'm afraid of miss in coins

There is a new version out 9.0 and 9.1 firmware.
These were released last week and the word is these can be cranked up to the max in some areas. Doesn't sound like you have the latest model or at least unlikely.
I was up in the Copper Country where specks of copper are common in the soil or sand. I was finding BB sized copper if I cranked it up. So I would start slow.
Try Discrim of 15
NOTCH 40
4H TONE
PLOWED FEILD.
SENSATIVITY 50 OR 60
See if that is quiet for you
