Shasta lake is way down bridges popping up as well as railroad tunnels high an dry.Just curious if anyone in this area. Can get down to the bridges with a 4x4. Anyone interested,........Got 3 days off this week going to go.it's about 30 miles north from me.

It's been along time since I was at Shasta lake. I used to live out at Whiskeytown years ago. I remember that Whiskeytown lake was really low back then and you could see the old buildings (old whiskey town) that was underwater. Pretty cool stuff. Hope you make it up there and find some cool finds. HH Joe.

Hey I'd jump right on that gig. That lake bed has to be littered with all manner of goodies and as big as it is it would take days to cover it all. Old fishing lures are quite collectable and I'm sure there are more than a few buried there along with all kinds of fishing gear, boat motors, and you name it.

Yeah it's been many moons since I was at Whiskeytown Reservoir. I've seen Shasta when it was less than half full and everything was high and dry.
