Nope not from PA. but if you move to NH let me know...I miss bottle digging...It's no fun going alone...no one to joke with and share the finds with...If a bear attacks you, you don't have to out run the bear, just run faster than your buddy...

We don't really have any problems with big wildlife when digging for bottles, just the small creature like the funnel web spider's other version called the alpine wolf spider (had a few roll onto my shoes when I'm ion a hole!), and lots and lots of lovely leeches that crawl up your jeans legs, and stay there! It's not uncommon to go home after a day's digging, and have a few drop out, happy and content!
