Anyone found the screen snapshot?????

The last menu item on the User pad can be used to take a snapshot of the screen display. That is the feature I used for some of the screen shots used in my posts. You can save several dozen screen shots, while in the field. The downside is you have to download them before turning off the detector. Just plug the detector into a USB and transfer the files from the detector to your PC. I don't know if it is a feature anyone is interested in or can make use of. But it sure came in handy during the test process. Here are some examples of how I used it.

Randy, this sounds real interesting! Since I have not received my CTX. Can you post more details like if it is saved as picture file?

I found it last week going through the menus and thought it odd that nothing was said in the owners manual (that I saw anyway) Now I know....... but can't think of any use for it though.

Cool...I can overlay the snapshots on the videos that I shoot for youtube. Should make for an interesting feature.

It is saved as a PNG file.

Very cool - nice find Randy! That could come in handy when discussing features, troubleshooting, writing an article, etc.

Randy why is the pixels in the second pic you posted blue??? I haven't seen that color on my screen.... just curious.. only about 4 hours on the machine...

Highly FE target without rejection. HH Randy

cool thanks... man there is a lot on this one... lol

Randy, that is actually useful for posting "reports" of screen hits on (in particular) iffy or co-located signals.
I wonder if Minelab might be able to allow the information saved once the machine is turned off? We need to add that as a suggestion to the software upgrade thread you made as it makes it more accessible as few of us bring or can bring laptops along our hunt.

Thanks for another good suggestion,
Albert
