Anyone found a gold bracelet?

I was wondering if they ID'D like a coin or in the pull tab range. One is a heavy gold bracelet, the other a smaller womens bracelet. My wedding band ID's like a penny. I searched my neighbors yard looking for 2 lost bracelets for an hour and didn't even find a penny. There is a lot of heavy gauge alluminum foil, plates shredded by lawn mowers. Any recommendations? Do I need to dig all the foil signals?
Thanks,
Doug

use a smailler coil (4 or 5 inch) to get in between all the trash and don't know about your machine but I can 'notch' out repeatable junk - like what you are discovering - on my Garrett GTA and GTAx detectors. If I had similar bracelets I could notch out everything except their (ID) notch and then probably could use a standard coil.
Doesn't solve you're particular problem but your machine. Not familiar with the capabilities/limitations of your machine so can't be of much help. Good luck on finding them Doug.

I bet you're going to have to dig the trash to get the bracelets <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry">
I've only found one gold braclet... but my MD dosen't have any display... it just beeps. so I'm not sure about your case.
I do wish you luck thou.

DigDoug, your going to have to dig the trash, the heavier one may read as a tab/zinc cent as I found 2 bangle bracelets last weekend that did that. The smaller one will read as foil. So yea you are going to have to dig that other stuff to get out of way.
good luck

From the land of the Bluenose..about a half dozen but all in the water and no help!

...the signal be repeatable or break up like iron does?
Doug

was it a recent loss? If so when you get a signal, it should be in the grass. If it was only lost say in the last year, you should still be able to pick it up with a pinpointer after you detect it?

They were both lost several years ago. The guy that lost his thought a branch of a tree along a fence line may have caught the bracelet and pulled it off. It could have landed on the mower deck and vibrated off anywhere in the yard.

Hi Doug, no I haven't found any, but I would think the heavy gold bracelet would give you a good sound when pinpointing just like a large gold ring! But the smaller one, I don't know and yet I would think it would give a good sound pinpointing also! Guess you'll have to dig almost everything unless you can find bracelets similar and with a program (If your detector has programs) that will accept just those sizes of gold items!
Good Luck in your quest for gold bracelets!
God Bless!

It may also have been chewed up and spit out in many pieces by the mower!
