I have the opportunity to buy a Fisher LF-930D, looks to be an 80's model for next to nothing. However, I know absolutely nothing about this particular detector. anyone ever own one, or know anything about them?

yes, probably early to mid-8o's. I know knothing about that one, but it appears to be in real nice shape for it's age. If working well it might be nice to have to play with, or even as a collectors item which is what I buy vintage units like that for, especially Fisher's.....
HH,
Bill

The photo above is one I had for sale that the buyer no-showed on.
I still have it if there is any interest in this vintage unit.
Reply and let me know if you would like it and what you think it's worth to you.
I hope I'm not violating any forum rules here. If so please let me know.
Thanks
