Anyone ever try a greek series 10 concentric on a G2/GB?

Just wondering if it will work and if so has anyone tried this combo?

Thanks,
Ray

10" coil from the Omega8000 won't work on G2 just the 11" and 5" DD coils. Pretty sure I read it here before someone else asked the same question. Think it is because the G2 was designed to work with DD coils only. Maybe someday they might come out with some more different coils for it.

Yep -- Etrac Tom is right...Dave J. himself stated that these machines were designed for DD coils only (Greek series). He says using the 10" won't "hurt" the machine in any way, but that you are likely to have erratic/degraded performance.

You might want to try the 10inch coil on the G2. I put 8 inch on my and I will pick up a nickel at 12 inches with it. Dave just said you will lose a lot of recovery speed and you will not get the performance out of the detector that you would normally get. Now if you are in a clear area, free of trash and need depth. I would pick up a concentric coil.

Hi Dave

I saw your post right after I made my post! I hate it when that happens : (
