anyone ever seen this screen - can it be cured

was working great, then no threshold sounds, just plain hum and this line on screen
 
Sometimes these units take a while to completely dry.
I remember sending a unit in and on the way it dried out..Don't know the circumstances but water and detectors don't mix..If you gave a while to dry out, guess its time for service...
 
Pull the case apart and set it in front of a dehumidifier or air conditioner for a day or two.
Don't put the battery in until you're sure it's dry.
 
Go to the menu and you should be able to edit and clear the screen. If not and it is still there then you may well need to send it back to the service center.

I DROPPED IT IN THE SURF ABOUT 4WEEKS AGO NOW.
SENT IT TO SAM FOR EVALUATION AND RE-WORK
IN VEGAS 2 WEEKS..............$78.BUCKS LATER AND NEW KEY PAD............IT RETURNS ON THE 24TH
AFTER 45MINS. ON THE 26TH.............I GOT THE FLATLINE AND A HUM.............WORKED GREAT UP TILL THAT 45MINS. MARK, ALL PROGRAMS STILL PROGRAMED IN PLACE AS WELL................
DEPARTED FOR VEGAS FRIDAY THE 27TH FOR ..........SOMETHING
I WILL KEEP US POSTED ON THE RESULTS
