Anyone doing good using Mixed Mode Pro?

I'm thinking of using the Mix Mode Pro on the next hunt - start out with the factory preset program then may get into some settings. I been using the Coin & Jewelery program but the Mixed Mode Pro sounds interesting. I'd like to give it a fair chance but I'm more used to the Coin & Jewelery and just curious of any inputs.

I'll try it tomorrow myself. I like thethat you can make more changes too...I might go with the basic C&J mode...in mixed mode and play with the settings..I guess its possible?

I used to use mixed mode almost exclusively with my DFX. From what I understand, it will give you a little more depth. I don't know if it is the same case with the V3. Some people have a hard time with all that audio, it does take a little to get used to. Also, if you leave modulation on, you have another aspect to deal with. Now you have all those tones and levels of sound (depth). As an aside, I think it is just a matter of your brain getting used to what ever your changes are. At this point, when I go back to my DFX it sounds a little foreign to me.

Thanks for the info.
Was going to go try it this evening but when I got to the area, the wind was blowing hard and it looked like the dark clouds was fixing to dump real hard. Then when I heard about the isolated thunderstorms in the area over the radio, I didn't want to risk possibly getting any rain in the electronics.
I still want to try the Mix Mode Pro - maybe tomorrow.

I think those who are used to the DFX's mixed mode will adapt pretty quickly to the V's mixed mode pro. As a MXT guy at heart though, I find it a bit uncomfortable. I can't really see any depth differences between MMP and C/J.

Time will tell.

Just got back from detecting. The Mixed Mode Pro is a busy to the ears mode. I did use it for a short while but I went back to the coin & jewelery mode, so I'll save the next trial of the Mixed Mode Pro when I get into cleaner grounds.
I did dig up a clad quarter at about 8 inches or so in hard dry soil. And a few other clad coins and zincs.
I think it will take me a bit to get used to the Mixed Mode Pro.
