Anyone doing a tone Id on the IDX?

Is there anyone that could put this mod. on a IDX? It's kind of a personal thing I'd like get installed on one. Just 3 or 4 tone nothing fancy. Not asking for opinions just if anyone can do it. Thanks

I have the Mrand tone mod on my Pro XL, and like it to pieces, but have not heard of the mod on the IDX. I have an IDX PRO with MR. Bill's mod, but that is a different deal...........Hombre

Which mod are ya talking about, the Mrand mod for the XL PRO or the Mr. Bill mod for the IDX PRO? These two mods are completly different mods. The Mrand tone mod is for the White's 6000 PRO XL/XL PRO and the Mr. Bill's mod is a manual threshold and ground ballance mod for the Classic ID, IDX, IDX PRO....................Hombre
 
Mr. Bill is working on my idx now you see him post i think below under Mr bill company is surfscanner detector. Look at post below about the 950 coil look for Mr bill name and click on his name send him p.m.
 
There is no tone ID mod for the IDX I have been looking for one for a long time. It is possible, but some one with an egineering background would have to design one and then make it available.
 
I know Mr.Bill does a mod. to enhance the performance,( and a damn fine one too from what I've read here on the forum). I'm looking for a 3 or 4 tone id mod. I don't know anything about the one you mentioned for the xl pro but is there a way for me to contact them?

Yes Kurt

But the mod is only for the Whites 6000 PRO XL / XL PRO, not for the Classic series, Classic ID or IDX PRO. To find out more about the tone kit: go to the Analog Forum and the scroll down to the thread: XL PRO MULTITONE MIXED MODE 2.0 by margiop. I got my kit from margiop aka Daniele from Italy. It's a nice mod, works in GEB/ SAT mode best, killer depth and great separation...............Hombre
