Anyone around Bloomington have a CTX 3030

Anyone in the area around Bloomington have a Minelab CTX 3030 .
I'm interested in one and would like to talk with someone that has some experience with one.
I now have a Safari and want something a bit better.

I don't know if you consider Eureka around Bloomington but I have one and it is the ultimate detector as far as I'm concerned, at least for the kind of hunting that I do. I have been hunting for 30 years and have tried a lot of detectors in that time.

That's pretty close.
I have a busy weekend "deer hunting" but would like to meet up and chat maybe have a look at your machine .
I have a Safari now and want to move up.
Lots of questions , can I get back with you next week

My work schedule will take me into Bloomington next week, maybe then.

Here is my email dstm24@gmail.com
Get ahold of me there and we can exchange phone numbers
Thanks

Things are moving along with the new 3030.
Been toying with all the adjustments and then going to the detector garden to test them out .
Got a computer and got the software downloaded.
Getting familiar with all that.
Have modified the factory modes and added a couple more.
Worked with the GPS and Geo Hunt and got everything backed up and saved on the computer
The Geo Hunt is going to be nice for a couple spots I've been working.
Now if the weather would just cooperate I'd get back out.

It sounds like you are getting all set up and our hunting days are dwindling. In my younger years this would still be hunting weather but not so much anymore. I still have a field that needs to be gone over maybe once more before the snow flies but it will have to warm up a little more for me.

Good luck with your new CTX if you get out with it. Keep us posted with your finds.
