Anybody using the GTA 1250

My wife is considering this as her next machine she is currently using a ACE 250, I bought it for her 4 months ago it was her first detector. In four months she has dug just at 1500 coins and 25 pieces of jewelry. Now that she is hooked she is thinking of a upgraded detector. We will keep the 250 for a backup so I don't have to swing my explorer at club hunts. She wants to stay with a Garrett and she likes the back light feature. I would like to hear the pros and cons of this machine
Thank you
Shawn

Why not go for the 1350 which is nothing more than a 1250 with profiling and get that added feature. Otherwise the 1250 is a great detector and should make your bride happy.

The 1250 was my first 'tector 6 yrs ago. It has found me a bunch of goodies and I still use it on occasion. I got nothing bad to say about the 1250. It has served me well and continues to do so. Is the one she's looking at come the the 7 x 10 coil? If not, get one. Much better coil than the 8" concentric.
I have several Garretts and do you know which one I pick up the most?
The 250. I always put 3-4 rigs in the car before I head out for a hunt, but most of the time, out comes the Yeller Feller when I get to the site.

Yes the one we are looking at comes with the 7 X 10 PROformance elliptical coil. She tried one out today to see if she would like the feel of it. She likes the idea of a backlight because during the hot summer nights we detect at night, and we can also get a Sunray probe for it. My dealer has them at a great price for a new one $499.00. She will let me know tonight and I'll get it for her tomorrow
Thanks to all
HH
