I found these this past week. This is token # 1.

What do the #'s mean on the back?

Those are some really cool looking tokens you've got there John. I'm real curious about the second one. Have you found any info on them?

I saw one for sell on e-bay. I have found nothing else on the token. I do know the swastikas were considered a good luck symbol before Hitler got a hold of it. I pop up a different token about every other hunt in the area I am MD'ing now. Here are some more of my finds.

this too: http://www.gasolinealleyantiques.com/transportation/automobilia.htm

advertising coin - crankcase company. undated, but 1930's or earlier vintage. Approx. 1.25" wide, brass coin, token. One side has raised image of mascot figure, reads COPPER CLAD CRANK CLUB. reverse has good luck symbols and says; BE A USER OF THE COPPER-CLAD OR A LIFE MEMBER OF THE WISH-I-HAD. no scratches, no dings, no flaws. near mint. 18.50

The first one is probably for a "company store" like a mine store. I found one last year from a local mine that no one even knew existed.

The Copper-Clad Malleable Range Co. was located in St. Louis, MO. They made Stoves & lined them with copper. You had to crank the ashes in the old stoves thus the crank club. The token is pretty common & in the price range of $10. 4 different var#s of it is listed in the U.S. Swastika catalog 1907-1936 (no nazi items - just U.S.) Tokens, Medals & Watch Fobs that have a swastika on them. gary
