Anybody try to put an in-line connector on a CZ-21 so they could change coils?

Yes, it can be done with the proper connectors although it takes a steady hand and someone that can solder well. The connectors are not cheap and must be special ordered. The Bulgins are cheaper but are all plastic and I do not use them.
 
I was told a while back by Fisher that with a CZ 20, such a coil swap would require a factory adjustment. Not sure if this really is the case, but is why I never tried it with a CZ 20. Better contact Fisher first.
