ANYBODY STILL USING THE CZ7a?

Woodchuck

New member
The one that has the battery holders under arm cuff and takes 12 AAs..And is mounted flat to the s rod, is it worth picking up as a detector? Thanks

Second edition of the digital CZ line is as deep as any CZ and works as well with about 80 hrs on a set of batteries...Although a little heavier than a conventional CZ is along with the CZ7 the most balanced and ergonomic of the CZ line. Rememember it is a rodmount only so if you hipmount not for you. Only downside is Fisher is limited with its parts because of its age and may have a problem if it goes down repairing if its a major malfunction..

Yup, just what Dan sez, plus it is splash resistant. Works great on the wet coast here (west coast), and tackles the mineralization well.
