I'm having trouble finding people that are actually using the new gold bugs for nugget shooting. I wanna see gold bug, gold bug pro, and SE nuggets!

Steve any tips for dealing with hot rocks while using the gold bug pro? Here in the Klamath river area of northern california they are non stop.

Ha-Hah... Steve if you have a copy or can see one of my Silver & Gold field test of the Gold Bug
Pro you will see several. I really like the combined bar graph and phase readings to mark out possible
concentrations of magnetic black sands that may have associated placer gold. (Darn osteoarthritis,
it has really stopped my fun!).

Same old same old. Proper ground balance and lower gain is needed. Changing coils can help - larger coils usually hit less hard on hot rocks. Worst case go to disc mode and set absolute minimum disc needed to knock out hot rocks.
