Anybody know what this is?

I found this yesterday while detecting my yard. It was about 6 to 7 inches deep. I assume it is part of an old neclace but dont know for sure. Does anybody have any idea what it is or how old it is?

Not sure what it is but when I clicked on the photo to examine it the enlarged version came out the same as the original. How'd you do that?

I have to agree with Larry its definately a quarter.........although I can't make out the date.

Looks like Steppin Fetchit to me. Not sure if I spelled that right but he was a black character player back in the 30's and 40's.

Spelling is Stepin Fetchit Click on name for more info. I did a Google search and did not find any pendant with his likeness.
