I found this over the summer in a tot lot and thought it was junk , but looking at it recently was wonder if it is 10k gold or plated. it says 10KLAC on the swivel thing. I shaved a piece of it and it is the same color all the way thru. it does not stick to a magnet. not sure if it is maybe 10k plated or really 10 gold. I remember looking up what it was and it is a pendant from some gehtto clothing company from a necklace or a jacket or something like that. does anybody know what 10KLAC stand for?

Sounds like it might be worth testing it. I googled LAC and gold and did not turn up anything real useful.
Plated or filled is usually mark 10KGP for plated or 1/20 10K G.F. meaning that the piece is at least 1/20th 10K; which is not a lot of gold content but is at least some.

ya I googled it also and couldnt find anything at all. I dont have a tester and it probably isnt worth testing. i know it is pretty cheap jewelery.

Hay CJ,

Maybe that's 10k white gold distributed by Lac Jewelers.

They are manufacturers and exporters of Ethnic Lac Handicrafts
from Jaipur, Rajasthan in India.
