ANYBODY HERE USING RED HEAT MK II?

Woodchuck

New member
I got one coming from across the pond, and can't find that much on it.I know that they are suppose to be a awesome detector if you can get your hands on one of 5 models ever produce. If you had one or using one I would like to hear from you Thanks.

Hi Woodchuck,i used one over here in England until i gave it to a friend to help him out because he could not afford to get a detector at the time.He hardly used it and then sold it to another friend so he could use the money for a detector that he really wanted. When i had it i had some good success with it....the red heats are really sensitive on small objects. My friend who now owns it is also doing really well with it....he would never part with it.They were designed to work through the really trashy areas of the river Thames foreshore around London and gained almost legendary status. The biggest regret i have in metal detecting is giving it away in the first place....even if it was to help a friend out.The biggest problem with them now is that the designer Vic Fiveash recently passed away so there could be a major problem for you if anything goes wrong with it.Luckily, the machines are very reliable so you should be ok.
