Anybody had the chance to use the Detech 13" Ultimate coil on the MXT

I have not but...
I have heard that Detech has 0 customer support, at least the ones that had problems and tried to contact them had no luck reaching them. I guess thats what you get for buying something from Bulgaria. Whites have an outstanding reputation<<<(UNDERSTATEMENT) for making sure each customer is satisfied. I would rather buy from Whites purely on principle, not to mention proven quality, customer support and Made in USA.
I havn't compared the 2 coils, I only have the D2 of the two coils mentioned and I love it. It VDI's high on some targets but coins all VDI where they should. I've heard other DD coils VDI high as well so it may not be unique to the D2 but its the first DD I have owned and wasn't familiar with them before trying it. It works great in heavy trash and you are able to ID a good target right up against or between junk where a concentric just see's the junk in these cases.

[size=medium]i for one really enjoyed my D2 from Whites. regret ever selling my mxt. it was my go to machine and the D2 was almost welded to it.

I have both the 13" Ultimate and the 10"DD. I really like the 10"DD and use it most of the time. I have used the 13" about 5 times and it works well, but I'm not sure it's any deeper than the 10"DD. I'm working on a test garden to find out.
