Anybody getting experience w/F70 coil on F75?

It seems that the F70 coil should get good depth and be less sensitive to EMI. Is anybody working with one to see if that's the case?

On both counts. I have alot of expereince with it & it seems a little deeper with correct ID's.....the DD is better for seperation/trash, so I enjoy having the option of both.....

I dont have many hours on the combination yet but I can tell its seperation is not as good as the 11".

it also produces cleaner crisper signals on targets in my test garden. On the down side......its separation isnt nearly as good as the DD (but still lots better than comparable units), and you have to use lots more overlap to get as good coverage as the DD gets. I used it for a couple of hours yesterday in a spot I pounded last week with the DD.................and it did get a few REALLY deep ones (Rosies and wheats) I missed with the DD. I'd say its a good addition to the F75's arsenal...........especially if your soil is relatively mild..and you want a bit of an edge in depth..like a few of my pounded colonial fields.
it seems to like a nice crisp swing speed too....and VDI'S seemed to be a "bit" tighter and more stable. BUT..........if your soil is highly mineralized.......the coil is probably a waste of money for you. The DD will undoubtedly do a better job in mineralized ground............. Streak!
