just looking for some feedback on this machine to see there likes and so fourth looking for a gold hunter doing research

While I was in Arizona prospecting, the past 3 years, I saw maybe one or two using them. I did try one back in 03 when they first came out but did not like it myself. I though and still think the goldbugII was better and easier to use.
The main complaint I saw and heard was hot rocks and hot bedrock drove it nuts. I had a friend who used one for 4 months with us until he gave up and went the PI route. He never could get the Goldstrike to run quiet in all the hot ground out there.
I wish I had more to say but I never found anyone who liked em out in Arizona. The GoldBug II is STILL the dominant VLF gold machine out there...more so than even the Whites GMT.

Well just take what i said with a grain of salt. I thought it should have worked great with all the adjustments it had but then again that could be it's downfall....maybe in the right hands it is awesome but see...most prospectors didn't seem to want alot fiddling and dual tone ID to figure out.
My personal favorite overall was the GoldBug II.
