Anybody ever try these products for your headphones?

http://www.flyfaro.com/gel-ear-seal-pad.html http://www.earplugstore.com/bilsom-cool-ii-earmuff-pads.html I LOVE my older Timberwolf headphones but the foam padding in the muffs have broken down over time and now the hard plastic inside the cup hurts the tips of my ears after long use from pressing too hard. I found these on the net and they seemed to be the cheapest. I like the idea of the ear pads too to soak up some moisture as I sweat a lot and summer is here. Just wondering if anyone else has tried these. If they work as advertised, I feel they are well worth the money because headphones are the main component for success with the Sovereign (IMHO) and a justified expense. HH George

Ive got those one of my Xcals. But id highly recommend what ever Ole Beachnut is using on the Skullies...... just super comfortable and they really block out the wind and noise. Those dont come with anything to seal them to the phones.

I use a helicopter headset with the boom mike removed, I replaced the original dry pads with gel pads similar or the same as in the link. (Paid the full $50 bucks for mine). They are worth every cent. Been using them for about 5 years now. Still soft and seal well. When wearing them all outside noises are gone. Though I run my threshold very low, I have often had someone come up and speak to me and not be able to hear them until I remove the phones.
Also need to remove them to hear my Propointer, don't like to rely on vibration alone.
If they will fit your phones I would go for it, especially at that price.

There are three different types of Gel Pads, single, double, and triple hump. Think I have tried about 5 different types and I like the double hump because of the comfort and ambient noise blocking.

I've been using them about three weeks now with the ear pads as well on them and they have been heaven on my ears! I would only caution this: don't try to cut the excess ear pad stick-ons after they are attached to the gel muffs! I slit both of mine open doing this and had to put a little black electrical tape on them to keep the gel from coming out. DUH! As far as the adhesive to put them on my phones, I do wish they were self stick but I found the adhesive already on the phones was enough to hold these on if you pulled the old ones off slowly. I haven't had any issues with them coming off yet. What a great product! As for the stick-on muff covers though, I would probably opt for the removable washable kind next time as these don't last long before becoming dirty and worn. Just my two zincs! HH George

Yes they will fit Foiledagain..................I use Aquaseal, takes 24 hours to dry but will last many years. And they are Heavenly comfortable.
