really currious that anybody has any good success using there cz's to hunt gold nuggets with or other type of gold hunts?

Heck all we have in my neck of the woods are coal nuggets however if my area was gold nugget area would buy a gold nugget unit made for that purpose.
Having said the above feel autotune would work but perhaps only get larger nuggets.

When the CZ5/CZ6 first came out, Fisher advertised it's prospecting abilities. The CZ handle heavy mineralization very well as you well know,if not one of the best VLF machines to do so. On small sub grain gold, the CZ fails. In extreme mineralization on larger gold, the CZ works well, this is where as the Gold Bug 2 will squeal in pain and you grab a pulse machine.
The answer is yes the CZ5, CZ6, CZ6a will prospect on larger gold and it shines in the worst ground.
Run it in autotune ground balanced well, and dig all.
