Found this ankle bracelet and was curious if the bangles were anything other than 14k as the chain is marked.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Be curious to see.

Don't get me wrong. It's a nice find indeed. But the color looks wrong for 14K gold.
I wonder why it's marked K14 instead of 14K?
 
yeah, adonia, you gotta be aware of any foreign gold. the color, like k. house says, doesnt seem quite right, but i could be wrong. i have found necklaces and bracelets marked 14k made in italy, and were just plated. junk. seems theyre known for it. its still a good find, hh,

K14 is the typical Japanese mark for 14kt gold, according to an entry I found by googling the question.
 
Thanks for the input folks. The color shot is deceiving as I used household floodlights
that tends to change the color from the real item. Got to get the right photo floods.
Looks like another gift for the wife!!!!
